Community garden

Step 1: Research local community gardens in your area to gather information such as:

- price to rent a garden plot

- size of plots available

- which months the gardens are open

- gardening guidelines

- which plants are allowed and not allowed

- composting rules

Step 2: Participate in your local community garden of choice. Connect with other community garden members to gather tips and tricks for successful gardening in your area.

Step 3: After a period of time participating in the community garden (for example, after one month) post to the forum about your experience with the community garden, including something that you discovered through your experience.
